The Pulsar for the 2017-2019 GM 6.6L Duramax is the clear cut winner for the L5P tuning market.  Stop dealing with wires, expensive ECU swaps, fuel pressure boxes, and other lackluster products. The best performance tuner to ever hit the market is leading the way for ease of install, performance gains, and the only product available that uses steering wheel controls to change power levels while driving, Shift-On-The-Fly. Using live data to change and adapt the Pulsar adjust signals making it the best-in-class winner with features and POWER!

The Pulsar inline module has made waves among truck owners.  The industry-exclusive technology, now available via Pulsar, has totally changed the game when it comes to adding performance and keeping the ECU on the truck.  No mail-in unlocks, no cross-shipment, or hassle.   Pulsar supplies instant power, on the fly, with no flash tuning.

The Pulsar is an in-line computer that connects directly to the vehicle PCM, with no additional wiring harness. By connecting directly to the trucks PCM, Edge has the ability to control the vehicle to optimize performance gains, throttle response, mileage, tire size, fueling, high-idle, and more. To make things even better, the Pulsar offers 5 performance levels that can be switched on-the-fly by using the vehicle cruise control + and buttons on the steering wheel.  The active power level (0-5) will be displayed using the speedometer gauge.  Simply change performance levels to display what power level or hit cancel on your cruise control to display the current power level.

L5P Duramax Pulsar Beta Test Unit is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Edge pulsar tuner for 2019 GMC Sierra L5P duramax Fantastic product, marked horsepower, torque, and fuel milage noticed, I installed the unit in about an hour with basic tools. I pretty much only drive in mode 3, which is listed as their “drive mode.” With the Allison adaptive transmission I don’t like the idea of changing power settings a lot. Thing has been well worth the investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performance, EGTs, Setting, and satisfaction! This product is amazing and I also installed the WCFab 3” Intake horn and S&B Intake system and really woke the truck up sounds totally different sounds like a jet sucking air. Only thing I have found is number five setting is too much and it slips the tranny a little and it detunes the motor which is a good thing keeps you from tearing up the truck! number four will kick sideways on dry pavement I am extremely happy with it and banks in a video says that the EGT‘s get hot and that is false I pull a 350unit seed tender And I can put it to the floor and does not go over 1302° so that is false information!! Would recommend this for anybody looking for a performance because it runs great And has not really affected fuel mileage it’s been hooked to a seed tender since I installed it so I cannot confirm on the fuel mileage

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every dime I have this on my 2019 L5P LTZ and absolutely love it. The power added and pedal response are way better. I have it stacked with a CAI and my truck absolutely moves down the road now. I have noticed a solid 2-3 MPG increase as well. Install was as easy as it gets and changing modes is the best thing. It runs very similar to my deleted LML now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money The install was super easy. The result that I got from the Pulsar was immediate and gave me better mileage and significant power increase. I love being able to change settings on the fly and it completely eliminated the dead pedal that I had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great alternative to Deletes Purchased the Friday before official release. Install took about 20 minutes on my 2018 2500HD.. Noticeable power and response difference on each power level. I stay on level 5 and have not noticed any mileage change or regen interval changes.. Many more Smiles per Gallon though!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WISH I HAD IT A YEAR AGO! Have only driven about 400 miles with Pulsar, previously had derringer. I 100% prefer the install of the Pulsar, the tune select is way easier/nicer, I did add the CTS2 for visibility and thats an awesome product as well. I did strap the upper coolant hose out the way during install, and lubed up ECM connectors (salt and sand stiffens them up) The power seems to be more than Banks, and the intergrated pedal commander made a huge difference with throttle response! I have not hand calculated mileage yet, however on the DIC it has increased from before. Most of the driving has been in the highest tune, with winter fuel. Excited to tow the sled trailer!

Will this leave a trace in my ecu when it’s removed if I have to take it in for service

    Asked by: SteveW
It is very unlikely you would have a issue with warranty with this product, consumers of aftermarket products are protected by the Federal Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. The Act states that if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever modifications you have added to your vehicle actually caused the problem in question. However, if you happen to take the vehicle for warranty work we recommend to remove the product to avoid conflict with the dealer. The Pulsar does not leave a trace if it was removed so the dealer couldn't tell it was there.

Does this throw a code? In the installation video, the check engine light is on.

    Asked by: HighFlyer11
The check engine light is on because the motor isn't on/running. Only the key is in the on position

When might there be an expansion to the options available? And if so could you say what they might be?  It’s hard to get an ET when I’m hitting the speed limiter at 3/4 track.

    Asked by: Chevyboy87
Unfortunately the Pulsar doesn't have the option to raise or adjust the speed limiter for more info give us a call at 888-360-3343.

Would these power #’s be any higher with a Cold Air intake/ or have you done any dyno runs with them together?

    Asked by: BubbaD
We have not tested with aftermarket CAI at this time. This can for sure help the airflow which we have seen can create more power that way. We will start testing these functions coming up.
