Throttle control is unreal in performance mode and the horse power gains are impressive. Well worth the $$$!! Installation was easy and programming is easier. Great product!!

Just recently had an engine issue on my new RAM. If it wasn't for this feature, I am sure that my warranty would have not covered the repair.

It gave my truck that extra spark that it needed. For any one out ther I would recommend this product to every person I met , this product is absolutely amazing.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!! I added this to my 2019 5.7. Amazing doesn’t cover it. Nay sayers want to say it just makes the throttle more sensitive. It does, however that’s not all. Shift points are much more aggressive as well as the timing. Out of my primary mods, I added the Pulsar first and it was great. Then I added a Vararam Air Gabber and headers. My truck is seriously a beast in Performance mode. As you may have guessed, I didn’t buy this for the eco mode which as you would expect is a dog as it’s designed to be. I leave mine in Performance unless I’m towing the boat. Rather way, the best mod I’ve made. In fact, if I made just one mod it would be the pulsar. Hands down.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bang for Buck and great tech support I bought the Pulsar Edge for my 19' 1500, when I got it, installation was easy, my RAM came with 22inch wheels from factory and a 3.92 axle ratio, however, the manual is confusing while adjusting these settings, it does not state that no changes are needed if they are default, then it does not state wheel DIAMETER, is states WHEEL SIZE, so I did put the wheel size, 22" in english mode, that started a lot of problems, such as cruise control not working, traction control warnings etc.. Got in touch with tech support, they were great, they sent me a new edge and we finally nailed where the problem was. It was a pain, BUT their tech support was great, I never felt like, "oh great I'm screwed". In performance mode, the Pulsar made my truck wake up, the way it should be. In economy mode, I did not notice any gas savings, but the throttle and power is adequate for city use, I don't believe anyone buys a v8 and slaps on an ECU for gas economy. It's not about the problems you encounter it's how you deal with them, they did what's right, I recommend it and would buy it again.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Huge performance difference. Stock 0-60 is 6.5 in performance mode 0-60 was 5.6, throttle response is great! Economy mode provides awesome in town mpg. This is a must have, I bought one for Mitt my 2019 rams.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Works on a 2019 5.7 Etorque. Must update the unit ! The PULSAR unit may NOT arrive updated but once updated this unit 100%works and well. WOKE up the HEMI. DIFFERENT ENGINE with the PULSAR. Instant response and less Thottle needed to accelerate. More Power and Torque that I noticed. Possibly 30/30 respectively. Ask for the Update cable or opt for the "Insight" which is what I did and I'm Happy I did. The INSIGHT will automatically update the PULSAR and you'll be able to change ALL the settings from the INSIGHT, then you can either leave it attached to the OBDII or Disconnect it. I left mine attached because it provides much more info than regular tachs and dash...

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as advertised Install took less than 15 minutes and couldn't be easier. While it may not be as aggressive as a custom tune, the throttle response is perfect & and there's definitely more torque (very noticeable on hills while cruising, everything is effortless with little to no down shifting anymore). This is what was missing from this truck, it just feels right now. Side note: while I have cycled through the settings, I only use Performance with MDS Off, but it's been on for 2 weeks & 2300 miles with absolutely no issues at all. I will also add that I don't love the way it turns off MDS, it kicks in for a split second before the Pulsar deactivates it. No big deal, I simply use the manual shifter to keep the MDS off. I can't imagine a better upgrade in the $500 range.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 weeks and can't say enough good things about it 2019 RAM 1500 Limited 5.7L Hemi. I installed this within an hour of driving off the dealer lot. Unless you're a 6 footer it is a stretch to reach the bolts without a footstool. I did my install in a retail store parking lot. With that being said, once installed, the setup is easy. I adjusted for 3.92 gears and All-Terrain tires. I used the tire manufacturers numbers for the tire diameter and had to readjust to get the speedometer to match up with a GPS reading. After that, the Speedometer and MPG readings are spot on. The display readout at the top center of the gauge cluster, right under the RAM logo, is the best of any programmer hands down. The adjustments are instant and on the fly, just by pressing the up+ or down- of the cruise control. You see in plain English what tune is selected. It shares the cruise control up/down buttons so, if cruise control is set pressing the up/down adjusts your speed. All you need to do is disengage the cruise control, select the desired tune, and reengage the cruise control. I've been using programmers for over 15 years (A new truck every 3 years) and nothing has ever come close to the ease of use of the PULSAR. I like that the programs are stored on the PULSAR and the Truck PCM is not flashed, there is no trace if they scan your PCM. I'm 5' 8" and can change it back to stock, with a step stool, in less than 5 minutes. Just make sure you save the factory PCM mounting bolts. On the redesigned 2019 RAM 1500 the PCM is moved from behind the air box to the side of the battery box. Very easy access to install and return to stock for dealer service visits.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Installation Snag 2019 Ram Rebel: easy connecting but truck failed to start. Removed it and truck still wouldn’t start. Towed it to dealership who advised 17 different codes were displayed. They reset them, connected the edge and have been fine since. The performance setting is off the hook! Gives you the true full potential of the truck. Economy setting is what I use. Picked up 2 mpg.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product The pulsar is worth it. If your looking to wake up that hemi, get it. Throttle response is immediate, even when changing modes on the fly. Use premium gas no matter what setting you use. First 2 weeks i used regular gas in eco mode and went from 16mpg down to 12mpg of in town driving. Then i used premium for 2 weeks and it got back up and is staying around 17.5mpg. Good product.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product I've had the pulsar on my 17 ram 1500 for about 3 months now and I love it. I am averaging about 11 L/100km with 35 inch tires. I always have it set to performance mode mds off and only run premium fuel. Couple issues I ran into, mds off doesn't really disable mds so I always set my gear limiter to 8. And I can no longer see the tune level on my display. I hope soon they make so you can upload custom tunes

I can’t talk to mileage yet but it seems to be better even though I beat it a little. Only complaint is that it doesn’t have the option to shut off the speed limiter. I wasn’t expecting much in a gas tune, as I have had diesel trucks and tunes before which about double the power, but I can’t complain about this for a gas tune. It will turn the 33’s over with no problem. 5-star if speed limiter was able to be shut off.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its Right but wrong This programmer does work like it says but there is so many flaws with it, my ram 2019 has constantly been out in limp mode throws error for throttle response, electric traction control and wont go over 1,000 rpm the only reason i voted it 2 stars it worked for 1 month like advertised but failed to mention all big errors and damage this can do to you truck. IS IT A BUY OR NO?- only if you like to have a little more performance and save gas or to fix your speedometer to ride bigger tires but willing to deal with going in limp mod and check engine light and error codes dont bother you, the programmer would be for you!

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good and bad. But mostly good. For now. This thing is incredible. Main reason for purchase was to change speedo once I lift. So much better than just that. The eco mode gives me +3MPG. Performance mode can break tires loose through 3 gears. Wild. And fun. So why 3 stars? Lineup marks for cables was off by a good amount. Plugged cables into Pulsar, and the guides were off enough that a portion of my cable bracket housing shattered. After that, a side of the Pulsar also shattered while trying to tighten down cables. Garbage material, shoddy craftsmanship, but the performance is worth it. Just would like to know it’s not going to fall apart for $500, and at this point, it’s still a question mark.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great but misleading Great on the performance side but you will receive no help on the MPG. You will lose MPG's obviously because of the boosted performance. Granted I have only done 1000 miles on it but that should be enough to see what it is like. I will test out the towing side this summer and update my review. For the money, it is a toss up because it will depend on what you are looking for. Performance mode is great, Eco mode is useless, stay tuned for the rest. No update cable as well which I do hope they release updates and future ability to adjust for CAI etc.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn’t work on my 2019 ram truck t really got more power to my truck but it start to show check engine and that ⚡️ on red so I called edge products where I bought it from and the told me to send it back so they can fix it and they sent it back to saying that the found a manufacturer’s problem but they fix it and 2 weeks after I install it again it started to show the lights again so I called those guys again and sent it back again and they returned me another one but used I saw some scratches on it but it works but not with the same power as the first one and then after a week it started to show the lights again and that time the parking lights too!

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Be careful..does somethings well but... I installed the Pulsar and you can tell the difference in TOW and Performance. BUT when I went to program in the tire size and gear ratio it caused my new RAM show all stability control features and avoidance features as needing service. The techs were nice in trying to clear out the error msgs but it needs to go to dealer to clear out. Tech could not figure out what caused it and now they want me to send the Pulsar unit back to them to reprogram. So the story will continue....

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't expect big things I keep getting emails to review this product so here it goes. I bought this Pulsar for my new 2019 Ram Limited with 3.92 gear ratio. Installation was a breeze which is probably the only thing good about this purchase. I have not seen any change in MPG. 1500 miles prior to installation, I averaged 17.2 MPG. 1500 miles after Pulsar installation I averaged 17.4 not what I would call "worth it". On "tow" mode there is often "gear confusion (7-8)" when pulling a load. On "performance" mode top speed is still 105 mph and I have not noticed any gains in horsepower. THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SEE THIS UNIT DOES IS CHANGE THROTTLE RESPONSE. I was expecting more. I would send it back. However, I can't find the box and shipping is on me. I guess i'll chalk this up to a poor buying decision. Hopefully there is something else better out there.

Installed it and it did everything bad that other people have said.....engine light came on, ignition light came on, lost all uconnect function, backup camera didnt work, truck was hard to start!!! Uninstalled and still have an engine light on!! Do not buy this! And the worsted part is......every bad review I've seen says they have fixed this issue and added great upgrades to it....not even close to being fixed!!!

    the update last year got rid of the gear indicator that tells what mode/setting you are in. Is there going to be a new way to tell, or are we always just going to have to go off feel? 2016 ram 1500. i dont have the fancy LCD cluster

    Will the Pulsar allow the programming of the power mirrors to fold automatically? DO I have to purchase the OBDII cord?

    No the Pulsar does not offer that feature. We will look at one day possibly adding if we can. Also, no you don't need the OBDII cord unless you want to update it sometime.

    Can the JMS pedalmax be used in conjunction with the pulsar?

    The pulsar is going to adjust the throttle response and make the throttle more sensitive the higher the tuning level. I have heard of a few people running a JMS pedalmax with the pulsar but would most likely need to reduce the setting on the JMS pedalmax or it will be too sensitive stacking them on top of each other. Edge hasn't done any specific testing by stacking them together for more info give us a call at 888-360-3343.

    The pulsar unfortunately isn't going to work on a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7L. As of right now this pulsar supports 2015-2018 Ram 1500L 5.7 then we have one for a 2019 Ram 1500 5.7L for more information give us a call at 888-360-3343.

    Interested in getting the Pulsar for my 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel.  i recently switched to after market rims and 35” Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Will the tire pressure  warnings on the dash go away with the tire size adjustment for Pulsar?
