    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing but be careful I have had this product for 6 months and works great but one day I was driving my 2015 GMC sierra 5.3 with an 6speed and I had it in the "M" mode and downshift all the way to first gear while going around 50mph and blew my trans so you really have to be careful because normally it will just say "shift denied" but with the tune it will let you downshift and thats what I like about the product. Its a good and bad thing but you have to be responsible with the product. Overall great product my shifts a lot better and is a little faster.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from CTS2 for GMC Sierra 1500 I bought this product about a month ago and instillation was really easy, took about 5 minutes or so, then setup took another 10 or 15 minutes. The "economy" tune has been very impressive. To date I'm averaging about 27mpg on a 5.3l V8 which is impressive. Obviously more uphill travel eats into that, but living in the Denver area and traveling up and down the foothills like I do, the CTS2 has been really good. I haven't checked the miles compared to the gallons manually yet, this has only been off the monitor, but so far it seems to have made a significant difference.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must Have Tuner I just want to say that i could not be happier about my Purchase. I have a 2013 Ford F-150 Eco and it basically gave my truck a shot of Steroids. It was a little Spendy but well worth the $. My Wife Damaged my HDMI Cable and i freaked out thinking how and where am i going to get another like this. I called the Support team at Edge and they Hooked me up and for no charge. I couldn't believe they were going to take care of me just like that. They could have charged me but they decided to take care of the customer. Very impressed. I recently just cracked my screen and had to buy another one ( Full Price ) but i couldn't go without this Tuner and needed a new one ASAP. I highly recommend this to anyone looking into a tuner. Stay away from the others. The support team and product knowledge is just too much to pass up on.

I don’t like the fact that I can’t set my own shift points. I also don’t like the fact that I can’t mess with the settings on my truck like turning off seatbelt chime and enabling my fog lights to turn on with my low beams. Needs some work

But if you also expected performance gains because it is also sold as a “performance tuner” a very big thumbs down no notable gains. I used the 0-60 timer on it and ran the exact time in stock mode as I did in extreme mode. I’ve always wanted a tuner for my Tahoe but was always hesitant to drop hundreds of dollars on one and thought I did my homework on all the different brands so after all the waiting I am truly disappointed so in conclusion I say save your money

For having a dodge it’s nice keeping an eye on transmission temps which I couldn’t do before. Looking forward to hauling my trailer this summer in the tow tune.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great producty, problem with using it with LPG (EU Used several of Edge programmers on diesel GMC's (very satisfied). With the previous programmers great support by problems, but now they can't help me! Bought the latest CTS2 directly when he was launched for my new GMC Denali 6.2 L. But in Europe with the fuel prizes the truck is build with the latest high pressure LPG installation (Liquid Gas). The Edge can't work with the LPG installation and using the Edge kicks out the LPG installation.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a waste of money! If I could give this product 1 star, I would. Their website advertises that you can adjust the axle gear ratio. So, I buy the tuner with the intention of lifting my truck, re-gearing(to 4.56), and puting on larger tires. Imagine my surprise when I go to program it and the gear ratio maxes out at 3.73, THE STOCK GEAR RATIO! That's gotta be considered some kind of false advertisement. Now my truck is sitting, useless, unable to be driven. Thanks, Evolution is a joke.

I have had nothing but problems since I bought this... it wiped the PCM where the truck wouldn't start so I had to pull it and send the PCM and Programmer back to edge. now I've got it back had to do several "custom" updates where they supposedly fixed it... now the remote start works about half the time and the cruise control doesn't work at all... but don't worry they assured me they are going to fix that... I'm scared to even touch this thing because every time I do it messes something else up. O and since I bought it over 30 days ago(most of the time has been working through issues) I cant get a refund. When it is "working" I cant tell any difference the gauges work half of the time at best... and I'm pretty sure its not accurate at full load my truck is making 3 lbs of boost ( my old programmer and the gauge reads 22 lbs)

Plugged it in, attempted to adjust speed controller, that didn't work, attempted to adjust trans, that didn't work, so basically did nothing for my truck. I'm sure it has great benefits for a diesel, no benefit for gas.

I've been using the CS2 programmer in my 2018 F-150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost twin turbo and i unfortunately cannot say i'm completely impressed by this products peak performance increasing tune. That being said I leave my truck on the race tune 90% of the time unless im towing, in which case ill change it over. In my experience i find the 91 octane race tune is not 100% compatible with this truck YET, initially it caused rough low speed shifting, and a lurching delaying upon putting your foot into it. I did get into contact with the support side and they released an updated version of the tune and it appeared to fix the issues i was experiencing. The truck drove much smoother until i realized that if i was to fully accelerate, after shifting a couple times i would get a flashing engine code that would make the truck start to spit and sputter with a full loss of the ability to accelerate. Once pulled over the engine light would stop and the truck would run normal again. I figured maybe this was the classic ecoboost misfire issue, but it happens on the same shift and RPM range every time. (This does not persist in Economy, Towing, or Stock programs) Long story short, i no longer use the programmer for the race tune as there are clearly issues not yet resolved for my year make and model. Other functions of the programmer are nice and well designed so on that side of things i am willing to give a positive review. it's easy to use and as mentioned in the title, the support team was great to deal with.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3/4 ton chevy 6.0 liter I put the CTS2 in the truck a week ago, so I have limited experience with it. So far it's great. I'm usually pulling a 18' dual axle flat bed trailer with a tractor on it or a 17' heavy walled aluminum boat. The tow mode is awesome due to the change in shift points from the stock setting. It really gives the truck better response and acceleration from a stop and when passing. Haven't seen much of a change in mileage when pulling, but really didn't expect to. Haven't drove it enough on the highway without a trailer, but the times I have gas mileage seems to have improved - And that's on the tow setting. If you pull something/anything regularly with a gas motor truck, I'd definitely buy this product. BTW, I also drive two diesel pickups and his product makes a gas powered truck perform more like a diesel when towing with the exception of gas mileage. But, that's a motor difference!!!

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2018 Ford F150 Super Crew 3.5 Ecoboost I will write this in the hope that the fears of other reviews regarding a 2018 Ford F150 with a 3.5 Twin Turbo Ecoboost motor have had experienced. I was not asked to write this review, I did so because I was looking for any solid review of this product for my year make and model truck and could not find one that would convince me one way or another. My Vehicle: 2018 Ford F150 Super Crew 3.5 EcoBoost (Twin Turbo), INJEN Cool Air Intake My Observations: This device is appears like an older model GPS, a bit clunky and the design seems dated. However the display is customizable and easy enough to get around. Lots of good features and gauges that can be customized and monitored. I was looking for a Turbo Boost gauge, there is a decent one that mounts in the left air vent however it is 300.00, just for a gauge. So I went out looking for another monitoring tool that included not only a Turbo Boost gauge but had others as well. The Edge CTS2 Gas Evolution has tons of features and gauges that can be setup, from Intake temp, to estimated Horsepower. There are also 3 pre-installed Tunes included. (Race, Economy, Towing) The Edge CTS comes with 3 different tunes, adding the tunes is a bit nerve racking as while you are loading them, all the dash lights and engine warnings appear and it looks like your truck is going to be hosed completely. However after the first initial time you set the tune, it backs up your original factory tune so you can always revert. I have loaded the Race tune and the Economy Tune, here is my impression initially; Race Tune: This tune is recommended to use a min of 91 octane as you will hear the engine ping when stepping on the gas, I added a 104 Octane booster to my tank of 87 octane fuel and this eliminated the pinging. There did seem to be a little HP gain however without a proper Dyno and an actual race setting the difference is negligible, however gas mileage is affected by about 1-2 MPG. I will test this again soon, however don't buy this if you are buying this product for just the race tune to gain 40 or so HP, you will not notice a difference initially. Economy Tune: Again, I have not taken a long trip, I plan to do this today and will update this post on my findings, initially around town I went from 17.5-18 to about 19.1 MPG around the city. I am driving a small 240 mile trip soon and will have a more clear image of this tune. Pros: The screen graphics are cool, colors and backgrounds can change to match your interior. Lots and lots of features! Trip monitors, Gas coach, performance tests (1/4 mile, 0-60, etc). Once you get past the initial shock of all the lights in your vehicle coming on the tunes load pretty fast and no service engine light is displayed, all seems to be normal outside the tune did reset my clock back an hour, I assume it is MTN time zone where this came from because they both did this. Setup and Install was pretty easy, however I did not notice the first few screen that said Manual vs. Auto transmission, I picked Manual and the device would not read the system due to the missing data for the manual trans, a quick call to Support resolved the issue, they reset it back and I chose the correct Automatic trans and everything worked as expected. Updating the device is decent, you do have to do this from your PC and download an application to program the tuner. Updates are automatic when you connect it, Logs are updated to the support team as well so the supportability is a plus. Over all I got what I paid for so far. I did install the INJEN Cool Air Intake, and so far no issues or service engine lights have appeared. Cons: The action on the display to change the screen and the finger swipe motions are clunky at best. The device hesitates a lot during screen changes, like an old GPS would. I did expect quicker responses on the display and the finger swiping to be like your smartphone, not the case. When using your remote start function, the device does not power up about 30% of the time, forcing me to unplug the HDMI cable on the back of the device to get the unit to power on. This is irritating and I cannot figure out why it does not power on all the time. However once the power comes back up everything is fine. The TUNE process is scary, and I am not sure what I expected with a foreseen 40+ HP gain, however I cannot feel the difference. Final Thoughts: Look, unless you spend 1000s on performance products to gain massive HP gains, a tuner will not be your choice to get around spending a lot of money. This product does offer the tunes, I am sure if you actually put your vehicle on a DYNO you would be able to see the differences. I will wait for someone to do this. The other functionality makes this product a good buy, the gauges, the trouble code reader, Gas mileage coach, and the performance tests all make this a decent buy. Although the product looks like an old GPS and feels the same, the device is exactly what I wanted to improve monitoring. As for the previous reviews of this product, I am not seeing any of the issues reported with the vehicle after install, so I cannot answer those issues with earlier models of my truck or other brands. This product does work as expected, with my truck. If you are looking for a decent enhancement and more functionality from a device then this is a good fit.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing for a truck I have ever purchased!! I have made about 1800 miles this month and this thing is great. Gas mileage is more than expected on my 5.7 hemi. I just made about 900 miles and only spent about 120 dollars on fill ups. I started with less than 3/4 of tank in New Mexico. Prices varied from 2.99 to 2.39 a gallon. Even in Econ mode, if I needed to pass someone, I had the power to get it done quickly!!

Sometimes when I get in my truck it won’t power up at all and I would have to remove the battery cables and then reattach them! I eventually pulled the programmer out and returned it to stock. Since then I haven’t used it and have had no issues.

I bought mine over a month ago and since I've had it I've seen an increase in acceleration power to ground and performance fuel mileage really hasn't changed much that's because I really don't run in economy mode. I hooked an off brand Amazon back up camera to it with a few issues at first (none due to the cts2) but got that solved. Have used the gas saver pre tune and it's has seemed to help increase fuel economy.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, flat Amazing My EcoBoost Twin Turbo V-6 in my '16 Ford F-150 didn't need anything to awaken it, but OMG!!! I put a Cold Air Return on and changed the exhaust to 3.25" Stainless Dual Pipes from CAT back, that was good except... Next day I got my Evolution CTS2 and quickly read up on it and then installed it. WOW, Could not believe the preformance, Amazing, flat Amazing. Haven't found a V-8 in a pick up yet, that I can't blow their doors off, they can't figure it out. The following week we made a 1,300 mile trip to see family, left the top preformance tune on my truck and the mileage was surprisingly much better than stock, got 175 miles per tank better than I had gotten on the previous trip. Climbing the mountains without downshifting I think made the biggest difference. The way I figure it I have added between 95 to 100 HP over stock, that's almost a 20% increase... I will follow the MPG for the next couple months to see just how much I can improve it!! Stand By, I'll have more to come!!

I forgot to reprogram old pcm, and it created some problems, the tech support was over the top, quick, thorough, and knowledgeable.     Rated 5 out of 5 by from more then I hoped for I have an 01 Chevy 3500 with the 6.0 gas and a 5 speed the truck has 330000 miles on it. I purchased the Evolution CTS2 on Tuesday. it arrived UPS Thursday as promised. I updated as instructed and the install went very well. I did have one little factory programing issue and customer service was on the ball fixing it for me. (My truck used to be a service type truck with a 14 foot box on it. I purchased the truck as a cab and chassis and turned it into a flatbed, The factory programming was extremely d-rated and the program was not your normal pickup program) After contacting Tec support they had me update my programmer again and it fixed it. all I can say is WOW!!!! I went from 11.5 MPG to 17.2 MPG on econ mode and I went from a truck that was gutless to one that runs as i imagined a 6.0 should run. on tow mode I am getting 16.7 MPG and on extreme I am getting 16.2 MPG with enough power to spin the duels in 2nd and 3rd gear. before the program it wouldn't even spin the tires in 1st.

    Can you put custom tunes on this tuner? For example say I wanna ajust the air fuel ratio can I do that on this tuner? Thanks

    I have a 2019 F-150 with the factory warranty’s on it, if I need to take it to the shop at all can it remove all traces that I had a tuner on it

    It is very unlikely that you would have a issue with warranty, consumers of aftermarket products are protected by the Federal Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act. The Act states that if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever modifications you have added to your vehicle actually caused the problem in question. However, if you happen to take the vehicle for warranty work we recommend to return your vehicle back to stock to avoid conflict with the dealer or locking the unit out if the dealer reflashes over the programming.     I have a 1997 Ford F150, 4.6L 4x4 that tows a 5000 pound fifth wheel on occasion. Will this make a noticeable difference? Will it harm my engine now with 130,000 miles on it?
