EAS Power Switch W/ Starter Kit is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plug and play Works great, easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. Just remember if power to the harness is straight to battery whatever is controlled by the switch will remain on after shutting down unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does It's Job Well Bought one of these a while back to control my two LED light bars. Just added a second one to control the rock lights I'm about to hook up. They've worked well with the LED bars, easy to install, setup, customize, and control. Gotta love not having to drill or cut holes for switches in your dash! Keeps everything clean on the dash by having it internal to the CTS. Only "complaint" or trade-off would be is that I believe the ignition has to be on so that the CTS is booted up (which can seem to be a bit slow if you're waiting on it) in order to control the lights (or whatever is hooked to it), So, if you think you will need functionality in a hurry, best to plan ahead and have it ready to go, just in case. No just reaching in and simply flipping a switch... I'd also like to have maybe a third screen option for the switches on the CTS instead of just the two screens at a time. Or, have a combination of gauges and smaller switch graphics on the screen. But that has nothing to do with the EAS really, and more to do with the CTS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works exactly as designed Used this EAS switch for my led lights and strobes. No more wires being pulled through the firewall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Features - design needs a little work I bought this and installed it a few weeks ago. I must say the idea is great. The ability to have logical switches is awesome; not having to drill holes in my dash, etc. Great idea. However, the application of the idea (IMHO) needs a little work. First off, when I put the connector (the side that plugs in to the main harness for the CTS) through the firewall, the grommet was of course tight. It crushed the female connectors inside the plug. I had to use my "dental" picks to open them up again, and it was then too wide. I had to play with it to get them to work...Perhaps switch the gender so that the male connectors are on the main harness and the female connectors are in the EAS harness? this would prevent crushing, and loss of connection. Second, you should make the switch harness and the starter kit available separately. Having to buy a whole bundle with starter kit harness just to get be able to use switch 3 & 4 is a little much. Its wasteful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from EAS expandable It cost to much for what you get. They give you the wire for a starter kit even if you don't need it or want it. I think they should cut cost and offer part that you need and not charge for one you don't.

Is there a display screen that shows the max number is switches that can be setup? The specs say it can support up to 16 relays...

    Asked by: adizzle
Yes with the EAS switches you can run up to 16 switches. On the CTS2 you can assign a switch to replace any of the pids on the screen for more information give us a call at 888-360-3343.

if using this to control an air compressor for air bags, does it work with a pressure shut off or is it adjustable for air bag pressure?

The EAS switch 98609 is going to be a on or off style switch unfortunately it isn't adjustable to turn off automatically based off pressure.

Would this run 2 switches or 4? If 2 will there be one made for 4? I would be insterested in that and I’m sure many others would be aswell

    Asked by: Jakebake
The part number 98609 will do two switches per that kit. If you are wanting to do four switches you would need 2 98609 kits and you can stack them together.

If the switches are only controllable when the device is on, and have to be relayed anyway, why isn't the 4-pin connector 4 different switch positive (or negative) control signals? Why waste the available space with more power and ground connections?
