I am new to the Edge product So far it's performed very well all I would recommend is getting it from an authorized dealers. Not a hole in the wall mechanic shop. I had a competitor program on my other truck. Was not that satisfied with it as I am completely satisfied with the Edge program

What exactly is this for?

This is an Exhaust temperature sensor that hooks into our CS2 or CTS2 products to monitor exhaust gas temps on our digital display.

I have a edge insight CTS2 and the probe just went on it. Can I use the 98620 kit to replace the 98600 that is on it right now, so I will only have to buy probes in the future?

I have the egt kit for the cts2. Can this be used as a turbo shutdown or do I need to purchase that separately?

You would need to purchase the turbo timer separate most likely you will need part number 98604 but it would depend on which vehicle you have for more information give us a call at 888-360-3343.

I currently have the original insight cts. Will this product be able to connect to it? The cord to the obdll port does not have any expansion ports.

Yes this kit will connect to the original CTS but would plug into the back of the device rather then the OBDII cable like the newer ones do.

What size hole do I need to drill? What size tap do I need?

I would recommend using a 21/64 drill bit and you would want to use a 1/8 NPT tap.

Will I need anything to run this kit suck as eas starter kit or will this hook right up without that?

The 98620 will come with the EAS starter cable. You won't need any other pieces to hook up this EGT probe to one of our devices.

I have a 2017 ram 6.7. Would this probe work in my egr blocker play that has a 1/8 npt hole in it already.

The EAS EGT probe does use a 1/8 NPT so it should work.
