I keep it on the economy setting most of the time. Even the economy setting really "woke up" my truck. I saw a small bump in my MPG as well. Probably would see more but with the Edge its too much fun to drive like a grandpa. I really wish they had a remote start feature. But the egt and turbo timer is great.

My mileage has increased from 14 to 18 miles per gallon and the programs work great with out having any other deletes

There is a noticeable power difference on level and level 2 and will be towing a large trailer for about 700 miles in a week. The one thing that would be helpful is vehicle specific instructions rather than the generic instructions provided

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from All that’s missing is shift on the fly I’ve had this product for about 6 months and am definately satisfied with the purchase. It is easy to install and easy to use. The only thing that would be nice is the shift on the fly option that’s available with the CTS2? I believe ( not sure on actual mode name) I run it in a 5.9 Cummins leave it on economy and get upwards of 19 MPG.

I also paid my mechanic to install this product after removing my old tuner which was much easier to use. This one boots up seemingly from the start almost every time I start the truck. Yesterday, it had forgotten that it was installed on a 03 Ram so I had to tell it that again. Often while driving off to work in the morning it will go through some sort of reboot system while my alarms go off. When I change from eco mode to trailer mode, it wants me to turn off the engine while ti sets all of the tuning specs up again. This unit is a pain but it does delver better fuel mileage than my last one.

    Will this work on my F450 6.0?

    My buddy has a 6.0 and you can tune multiple vehicles with this tuner, so i tuned his 6.0 for him is 6.0 is all stock the mode 4 tune is way to much for a stock 6.0 it over heated multiple times trans hated it and he blew a turbo ( not a suprise 6.0s are prone to blown turbos without a tune) He got a new turbo and we set it to mode 3 the truck loves mode 3 trans is a little rough sometimes when hes on it but he hasnt had any more prolems and no blown head gaskets. hes had it on mode 3 for 20k miles. Hope this helps!

    I have a 2005 Chevy Duramax with 370,000 miles. Is there a difference between the cts and cts2 besides the display that would better for my truck and it's high mileage. What is a reasonable expectation in MPG gain over my 14.5 MPG now.

    my mpg gains were massive on my 05, tune 4 the 100 horse tune actually gives me the best mpg. i went from 15.2 average to 23 and i dont drive the truck lightly im always pinned, be ware your 5 speed ali will not handle the 100 horse tune i limped mine 35 plus times before getting a dmax store stage 4 trans. If you wanna run it in mode 4 cancel over drive and have fun, or avoid hard 4-5 upshifts or 5-4 downshift thats what throws them into limp mode. A good supporting mod with this tuner is a airdog 165 lift pump i had the dmax store do that as well and with the built trand and lift pump along with the edge my truck is a monster. Ive raced multiple cummins that claim theyll smoke me because my tunes weak ad there running 220 hp efi live tunes the dmax walks em effortlessly haha. With the lift pump and trans i can spin tire at 45 merging onto the freeway.

    the evolution absolutely woke my lly the f up. Went into mode 4 thing rolled coal and felt like a race truck. The only weak link was my transmission the 4-5 upshit or 5-4 downshift when laying into it would limp the truck and id have to pull over clear the code and i was on myway, got over doing that so i did a dmax store stage 4 trans and airdog lift pump. The airdog lift pump with the edge really really woke it up. Wouldnt run in mode 4 on a stock lly trans i would only do 3 as if you keep limping the trans it only gets weaker.

    Which would give better mpg the evolution cs2, the EZ chip, or the EVOTH2 hand tuner, I have a dodge 2500 with a 5.9L Cummings in it.

    Already have a Tuner (and delete/ exhaust) on my '08 F250 6.4 but previous owner couldn't find controller at purchase; what do I need to do to properly install the Diesel Evolution CS2-85300 on my truck, and what can I expect? TIA!

    Well if your truck has the DPF deleted from the exhaust then our tuner would not work with your truck. You would throw check engine lights and have issues as we only tune with the Emission systems in place. You would need the full emission systems back on the truck to tune it with our tuners.

    Unfortunately the CS2 Evolution wouldn't work on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L. However, we do have the Amp'd throttle booster that would work to improve throttle response for more info or if you would like to order give us a call at 888-360-3343.

    What are the fuel mileage gains for a 2012 6.7L Cummins? I tow a toy hauler that is approx 10k loaded, but I am looking at something to give me better mileage around town also.

    I have a 1997 (late 1996) F-350 that is having a transmission swap done to it. It originally was the automatic 4-speed, but I am putting in a manual 5 speed. Would this tuner still work on my truck with the manual transmission swapped into it
