The Ampd Throttle Booster adjusts your vehicles throttle sensitivity, which reduces that dead pedal feeling while accelerating. Late model vehicles are built with an accelerator pedal position sensor to control engine fueling. The Ampd Throttle Booster takes that stock signal of the accelerator and changes the mapping, which leads to a more sensitive throttle, giving access to more on-demand power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great on 2017 Ram 5500 Cab & Chassis I'm pleased with performance of Amp'd Booster set on 75% increase. There is still torque management built into the engine/ transmission programming, but this compensates a LOT. Haven't tried it towing, but imagine I'll set to stock as I had no complaints towing. I recommend getting the switch as its convenient to change settings. Good Product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to switch to the setting you want to run I had the ecu update on my 2015 eco limited dodge delayed bad and actually seems like a safety hazard on how slow it ramps up . This product make a huge difference at 100% and at 400 it runs really responsive !! Hard to believe that it adds no horsepower but seems like it does since it give quicker demand power!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got to have!!!! I purchase the amp throttle booster for my 2012 ram3500 high output 6.7 and it made my truck absolutely come alive!!!! Amazing performance from such a easy upgrade highly recommend this to anyone with a newer diesel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product I drive 2016 Cummins and it had a dead pedal. This unit helped a lot with that. I do t use the 400% setting seems like a bit to much. Over all does what it claims!

Can you explain the power switch? Is it just a simple off and on switch? Is it required for operation?

    Asked by: Phil
The switch is a push button style switch that allows you to change between 5 settings here is a link below to the install manual that will explain a little more.'d_manual.pdf

Does this work with the edge cts2 evolution?

    Asked by: Dirty
Yes the CTS2 evolution will work great in conjunction with the Amp'd throttle booster.

Is this just a re-labeled BD Power unit?  It looks just like it. I installed the BD unit and after less than a year it started throwing codes. I returned the favor and threw it in the garbage!

    Asked by: Gator
It is exactly the same as the BD unit. Don’t know what product you were looking at. Edge even says it’s modeled after the BD unit

Does it make your transmission shift different?

    Asked by: roperdude
The Amp’d Throttle Booster does not modify the transmission shift points.
    Answered by: Tech
    Date published: 2018-08-29

Does this one also effect the shifting? Ive heard the other throttle response modules are causing the trucks to shift harder/faster, more of a "jerky feeling, if that makes sense.
