The Ampd Throttle Booster adjusts your vehicles throttle sensitivity, which reduces that dead pedal feeling while accelerating. Late model vehicles are built with an accelerator pedal position sensor to control engine fueling. The Ampd Throttle Booster takes that stock signal of the accelerator and changes the mapping, which leads to a more sensitive throttle, giving access to more on-demand power. The addition of the Ampd Power Switch allows user to adjust throttle sensitivity settings on-the-fly.

    Amp'D Throttle Booster 2007-2017 GMC/Chevrolet Truck/SUV Gas is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3.5 star I also bought the switch. It does infact boost the response with less pedal depression. I feel it's $100 overpriced as it's not very customizable and it has one very small purpose to serve. It's hard to justify the price. GM is responsible for this purchase as the factory settings are borderline dangerous in my chevy 2008 6.0 after putting on longtime headers and a tune. I feel safer on the road being able to get up and go when I need to. to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great enhancement to my truck. My truck now has pick up and actually fills as if it has more power. There is no longer a hesitation off the line or when taking corners.

Do you need the switch to control the throttle booster or can you control it through the cts2 evolution

    Asked by: dcradd99
The CTS2 will not control the Amp'd. There are two settings without the switch but if you want full control then will need the switch.

I just ordered this, and tried to cancel the order but the request was ignored.  The reason, it just dawned on me that you need a CTS or something for this to work, is that true or can it go on a bone stock 14’ GMC Sierra with no performance equipment?

    Asked by: DustinCo
With the Amp'd throttle booster you wouldn't need a CTS2 you can use it without any other performance equipment. It also would work if you did ended up add the CTS2 or other performance parts for more info or any questions give us a call at 888-360-3343.
