2004-2008 F-150 EVO PROGRAMMER is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it, Love it, Love it I've had this tuner for several months and tried all 3 tunes, played with a bunch of different settings and display items. I've also corrected my speedo by correcting the tire size which is really the main reason I wanted it. I'm currently using the level 3 tune, and love it. My gas mileage is up, it runs so much better, and when i want the power its there. This is much more than a seat of the pants feeling. I really liked my truck when I bought it, but this tuner brought out the beast that lives within the 5.4L heart of my truck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hello New F-150! I have had my EVO on my 04 4.6 F150 for about 3 months. If you have the 4.6, you know how gutless it is. This programmer really woke it up. The shifts are better right off the bat, and the truck just pulls like it has a new motor. This was the perfect compliment to my cold air intake and exhaust. I love the in cab monitoring and the ability to modify certain features. It also look very neat and clean in the cab, like it came from the factory that way. Very worth the purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance I bought this about 6 months ago and have been pleased with the results. Can definitely tell the difference when I take it out to update it and forget to put it back in before I run an errand. Increased MPG a little bit but wanted more for performance! Thanks Edge!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product Its an amazing product i would say it does with it claims to do! Also i enjoy the alerts and engine monitoring. The only conplaint that i have is that the arrows and words on the buttons have already began to fade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice addition to the vehicle. I did notice a little extra spunk at takeoff and that's what I really like about it. Also, being able to glance over at any time and see tranny temp, MPG and MPG average are almost worth the price of admission alone. Recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it claims for me I bought this about 4 months ago. I basically have a stock truck but wanted more power and better gas mileage. I get little better gas mileage. Just under 2 mpg but I have only run it in tow mode. The best thing is the boosted power I get. My truck lacked get up n go but after install I noticed power upgrade immediately so I have to keep my foot off pedal now. I also upgraded unit online thru original programmer. Name eludes me at moment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What to wake up you f-150 Could not believe the change in get up and go. Truck was heavy and with over sized tires, sluggish. Now feels like it looks
Date published: 2017-12-06
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was expecting I don’t see much change if any on all three levels or fuel mileage

I have just purchased P/N: 15051 for my 2006 F150 5.4l gas p/u. Will the upgrades that I have currently on the truck (Flow master exhaust system, Volant Cold Air Intake w/throttle body) affect or change the performance?

Asked by: jlmiller2171
Unfortunately the part number 15051 doesn't have the option for a CAI. I would recommend looking at getting the cs2 or cts2 evolution.

Will this tuner be able to shut the egr valve off my 2007 f150 4.6 i currently have the valve deleted with a block off plate and just left the plug unplug. I have multiple dtc code in regards to this wondering if I can shut this egr system off with no dtc

Asked by: Dougall
Edge doesn't offer any tuners that will bypass the egr or modify any of the emissions equipment.

Can this tuner be used with a Supercharged engine? - specifically a 2005 F150 5.4 with Roush Supercharger, 6 inch lift, and 35’s.

Asked by: FireDo_g
Unfortunately not the evolution isn't going to work if the truck is supercharged. I would recommend looking at the insight pro cs2 or cts2 that you can use for the display and add custom tunes through hp tuners.

What kind of performance numbers and extra mpg's can I expect from this on a 2007 f150 with the 5.4?

Asked by: Dron
MPG would really depends on how you drive and how the tuning matches up with the vehicle. In general when tuned usually customers will see about 1-2 mpg increase. Can you update the evo programmer with a samsung Android tablet? Also where can you get custom tunes for your evo? Michael

Asked by: Offgrid
Unfortunately, you can't use a tablet to update, you will need a windows based computer. The evolution does not accept custom tunes.

I have a 2007 Ford F150 Lariat and I recently lost an old superchips tuner which all my saved stock files were on, so i was wondering how to get those stock files for my vehicle again?

Asked by: apelski1
With the Evolution, we can revert the truck back to stock, we have a checksum process that will send a file to the evolution using our fusion software. Once you get the update you load it to the evolution and back to the truck. If you need help getting that set up please contact our tech support staff at 888-360-3343 dial 4.
